At Born from the Sea, we believe in the power and beauty of the ocean. Our journey began with a deep connection to the sea and a passion for bringing its essence into everyday life.

Our Story

Inspired by the waves, tides, and treasures of the coast, we carefully curate products that celebrate the maritime spirit. Each item in our collection tells a story of craftsmanship, quality, and our love for all things oceanic.

My name is Vicky and I am the proud creator of “Born from the Sea”. Which I began in 2021, during the pandemic, when I realised it was time I took the leap into doing something I loved! I am also a mum of 2 and a wife of 1, so things are pretty busy in day to day life.

 I design, create and produce pieces from my seaside cottage which is set in the beautiful heart of the Wild Atlantic Way. I am greatly influenced by nature, the many local seashores, hills, and forests which I visit on our family walks and rambles. Real native sea shells, sea creatures, wild flowers, are all hand-picked and foraged  from the Irish seaside and  countryside as a family.

I create my unique pieces in the form of my signature miniature seascapes, often using locally hand-picked wild flowers also. The result is a picturesque piece of Irish wearable art.

This adds an endearing personal connection to my loyal customers all over the world.
